Over a foot of rain in some parts of South Jersey yesterday.... I grew up in one of the towns (Medford Lakes) and now live about 6 miles away. Mom's still there, but she's on the edge and just about at the highest point in the town and was doing just fine when I called this morning.
These pictures were taken on the other side of the flooding in Vincentown by a friend of mine:

Wasn't it just called Medford before the rainstorms? ;)

heard they voted to change it to medford falls ::)

That rain reminded me of a Nor'Easter, there was so friggin much. Have a garbage pail in the backyard for gathering trees debris, yesterday morning I emptied it. This morning there was at least 2 feet of rainwater in it.
We're a few miles from the bay here. On my way to work this morning Cedar Creek looked Ok, this afternoon on my way back home it was at least a foot over its banks and dark red. Looks like the Pine Barrens couldn't absorb it all.
