OK, so they have sex on the brain ... and beer. Let's test this theory.

Here is a piece of a Gorn ship from EAW ...

In 50 words or less, what does this remind you of?

I'll go first ...

To me it looks like the jungle encased entrace to a dark Peruvian pyramid.

Kinda reminds me of a Predator in full armor that got ran over by an 18-wheeled rig...

As an occasional closet Gorn I'd have to say it looks like a bottle of tequila and a hot babe, no question about it!

That's why I don't look at it unless I am wasted. Then it is a very attractive lady of oriental heritage!  :woot:
Of course it could be a midget in drag (Hexx) by that point in my inebriation.
