The pair were asked why they were wearing women?s thongs. One of the guys said that a friend had ?triple-dog dared them? to carry out the prank.

The men won?t be prosecuted, according to police.

Triple-Dog-Dare?  They fell for a Triple-Dog-Dare?  Grow up guys.  The most important piece of information is missing from the story.  That is how much beer had been consumed prior to their little stroll.

It was a triple-dog dare!!!

You can never out grow one of those...it's like a challenge to your very existence and must be dealt with ASAP. I think it's an unwritten law somewhere that triple-dog dares cannot be prosecuted except if there's loss of life involved...or if you fail to accept the challenge or properly explain why you can't.

I wonder if they followed protocol or did they skip double dog dare etc and go straight to triple dog dare.
