Somewhere a bunch of klink-o-philes are in the coner of their closets, sucking their thumbs, sitting in a pile of their own poo-poo. Like da little girlie-men they truly are.

I never much liked the quad-nacelle style until now. When can we d/l this monster and could you perhaps have the names and registries of the other dreadnoughts?(i.e. Entente, Hegemony, Kingdom, Konkordium etc.) BTW never did go much for the "Star Empire" name just plain ol' EMPIRE or have one named Pax Federatus?

actually it is when windows disk manager is starting to pop up after abut 200 GB of dls thats a very strong sign that you have Way to many models and the LED wont stop blinking and the CPU indicator is now showing 100% usage that is a sign that you have to many models or a blue screen that appears after the failed attempt to add one more tiny Little model to you'r collection id say that that constitutes as being Way to many models

btw the mars looks fabulous

But i will probably put up a quick webpage with pics somewhen to show exactly what is waiting for release...so im taking all the WIP pics down to make room for new ones, just gotta track down a load of people for permissions :S

Post by: Starforce2 on October 17, 2004, 08:47:12 pm: mallaroy rules. If it used a newer excelcior it could be used with gafy textures. Or perhaps a variant using the Xera ships that gafy recently updated would be a great upgrade. I think my favorite feature is the torp tubes on the warp pylons.

Poor old Dizzy has come up with an awesome idea for another "Mars" style ship, but i havent been able to sit down and get anything much done about it yet :'( I promise you guys will like it though...

Post by: dogfighter on October 24, 2004, 11:03:45 am: just a suggestion: dont scale the parts up too much - or better: modifie the engines so they dont look so much like conny engines - than the ship will look more realistic. but even in the current form its an impressive ship!

looking forward to see it finshed :)
