DH said it was the mission called "Holding Action".  I have not seen this mission yet, nor have I encountered double fighters on this server yet.

I think we're doing pretty good, if double fighters was spotted in a single mission.

That has more to do with flying Puss this server, than the little love taps Jinn just administered.

Yeah, but I don't think I will ever be able to get the smell of those drones off me.

Holding Action is the "other side" of the Data Recovery mission, right?

Maybe we'll be lucky and it's just that mission...  (crosses fingers)

It is the only one that i have seen it in and I have to fly 90% co-op due to my inability to draft.

Maybe it just got missed?

Well, with two CVAs in the game now, I suspect we'll perhaps see more instances, if they are to be seen at all.

I have not ONCE encountered the double-fighter, double-fire bug on GW3 and I've run plenty of missions where I would have expected it to rear it's ugly-arsed head.  However, the ONE Data Recovery Mission I have taken was solo.

The Bug only appears with AI ships in Co-op/PvP.  So far, ED Data recovery is the only one I have seen it it.  Best guess so far is the script simply got missed, we'll nag ED when he gets back from vacation.

Should I pull the mission?

Yeah...I know it's a co-op, PvP-related bug.  I don't think it needs to necessarily get pulled unless the mission is coming up a lot and causing undue consternation.  I've only had to take it once in three days because it was the only mission offered at the time.  Is it popping up more frequently for you?

If it becomes a problem, then yeah, pull it.  If it's an infrequent annoyance, maybe just leave it in there and any time it comes up in PvP, we can just make it up to the participants if they want to continue...?

Bad Kroma!  BAD BAD BAD!  ;)

(of course, if this particular issue was causing the same amount of trouble as it has in the past, I'm sure you would join me in wanting to see something done about it, right?   heheh...)

Well it seems to only hit Die Hard.   Given that.   I move that the bug stays in.   <snicker>

Post edited by Sethan to remove quoted posts I had already removed.

Dammit Karnak, knock it off. You know darn well your post above was a loosly veiled barb at FS. Acting like the victim now is ingenuous. If you don't like being attacked, then stop throwing the first stones.

XOXOXO,
Kroma

PS, I bet code reviews with you are a hoot though. ;-)

That works for me.  :D

Seconded!   :P

Damn shame it's not totally gone...we'll get it eventually.

Had it happen again in the same Holding Action mission, D7V dumped 16 fightes, F-CDV dumped 32.

Mission is getting pulled.

No. Let's see if it happens again.

There was once a trio of people in a car, an engineer, a mathematician and a computer scientist driving to a convention in the mountains.  At one point, they had to go down a very steep hill which also contained a tricky turn.

The brakes failed about half way up the hill and after some very dangerous driving they managed to bank the car into a gravel crash pile;  Apparantly this was a problem on this road.

The three each suggested something, as the mountain road was sure to have another stretch like the one that nearly ended their lives.

"The car's old," said the engineer.  "Let me pop the hood and check."

"No, I think it's the road,"  the mathematician replied, "Let me do some work on the angle of the road;  The province will have to fix the road anyway if it's too steep for regular use."

The computer scientist, being what he was, suggested that old adage again.  "Let's push the car back up the slope and see if it happens again."
