We handed over Dr. Nyet's keys to the new home owner today, and picked up the keys to our own new House of Love. So, with the moving all done and the fiance working late, I thought I'd finally try my hand at GW3.
Good night, but that was fun!
I played two hours, and as soon as I moved into manned space I had three well-matched PvP's (won two and lost one) and four co-ops. The numbers stayed balanced between 9PM and 11PM, while I was playing. Lots and lots typing during in-game chat, and nothing but good sportsmanship and jokes all around.
I've got to say one thing: The mission pack seems near perfect! Congrats to the scripters for turning out some fine product, and a big Hats Off to Die Hard for getting all his gf settings seemingly perfect. Would you mind posting your settings DH? I think I'd like to steal them for my next server.
And of course, thanks to J'inn for the concept and the chance to play. (And for moving all those heavy boxes for me this weekend.) This is the level of fun I had when the D2 was brand new.

We still get some dumb p00p with base and planet assaults appearing in hexes where they do not belong. That may need to be changed in the script itself.

Welcome back, S'Cip..it will be good to have ya. It seems like the Alliance is surging back with higher numbers and that will make for a better last week of GW3.
Unfortunately for me, the kids have been nuts tonight and every time I try to fly a mission, I get some sort of drama that needs dealing with...so I just parked the Stormbringer for the night....i'll try again tomorrow.

For both, I imagine. But SquadronCommander will happen first. I'd like to launch the weekend after GW3, and have a narrow window before I have to move Dr. Nyet out of storage and into our new house. (The old owner is currently renting back.) I won't have time to run EcoWar in that gap.

You're gonna need custom Karnak missions for the PF server. His use hull class instead of BPV for the mission matching and this will be problematic with a PF server.
