Well, DH denied us freeing 14,11, so we held the Alliance to 4 Map VCs. An astounding Victory by the Coalition!
GJ by all!
And to our Foes, a hard fought camapign! <S>

I was kidding, we had 4 teams in mission there when the server went down. DV was at 1 at the time. If we would have retaken it, it would have taken away the 2 VCs the Alliance got for it.
It was fun... ;)

This is awesome! Let's start a pissing contest over 2VC's please! :screwloose:
-
Ok.. Maybe I can put an end to what is being said.
I checked. DH brought down the server 15 seconds before the atomic clock said it was minight. We did not have any players coming out of mission within that time.
.. therefore.. Let's not start something over that. PLEASE?
-
He Was just kidding!!!!!!
-
You have an atomic clock? Man, I'm impressed.
-
It's ok, really.
You put up a hell of a fight at the end. GG
-
<S> Congratulations to the Coalition on a well fought war. Your decision to cut a line into Kzin space was, in retrospect, the right one to make. We never recovered after the first weekend despite many valiant tactical efforts. LordKrueg, my battle with you is one I will remember a long time. A hard-fought battle that lasted a good while and which was decided by attrition, not a mistake, which is always the best way to end a fight, win or lose.
I enjoyed myself despite the strategic loss we suffered and look forward to the next one.
Respects and kind regards to everyone on both sides...

Actually I was at mission debrief when the server went down. It would have flipped neutral then.
But I don't care. I should have been faster ;)

As far as the score goes...the only thing that matters regarding that base in question is that we didn't get it. Woulda-coullda-shoulda....bollocks.
I was gonna be happy with a tie this round....so anything else was just a bonus. GG to all....especially our valiant adversaries. Thanks for giving us a good game.

My pleasure, big guy....be sure to watch that film of me and Doc barely pulling one out against Thrain and J'inn....that one happened on GW1...I think on the Saturday night before the campaign ended. That mission was a hoot....the pucker factor was HIGH.
Anyway....as I said...glad to be of service and glad ya got it. Sorry I screwed up the first time!

time.nist.gov - server for the NTP protocol.
So do we!:
time.nrc.ca - Canadian NRC's NTP server: NRC NTP (http://inms-ienm.nrc-cnrc.gc.ca/time_services/network_time_protocol_e.htm) (though I use the included NTP client in XP and QNX)

GG, all! This was the first server that I *voluntarily* chose an F5DB over a D7C.
Something to look into for the future is a small bug I noticed in respawn profiteering. I lost one D5D and the ship I got in replacement was an F5VKR, a p00py ship with a pp cost on this server 6 times what it was worth, so in trade I made out like a bandit and was able to fully stock a heavy war destroyer...
Which brings me to my second point: The Klingon HDW's are broken. I forget which one it was, but I couldn't use fighters. They wouldn't even display on the UI. If I loaded G1's, they's display, but no model would appear. I was using the OP+ 3.4 model pack with J'inn's shiplist, if it helps.
-
You not being able to see the fighters sounds like you don't have you exe file set right. The default one is incorrect. here's what you do:
Right click on your OP icon and go to properties.
Then, in the "Start in" box enter
C:\Program Flies\Taldren Software Inc\Starfleet Command Orion Pirates\
In the "target" box enter
C:\Program Files\Taldren Software Inc\Starfleet Command Orion Pirates\StarFleetOP.exe
Now click "OK" and it'll be all set.
Note that this assumes you have OP in "C" drive, if it's different, substitue "C" with whichever one the game is installed in.
You should now be able to see the fighters with no problem. Several pilots used carriers and fighters with great success, so it's not the fighters not working correctly.
-
thanks :) Seems it's configured correctly on my laptop, but the desktop problem is going to have to wait since it has a reeeally nasty virus I haven't been able to get rid of. Apparently its file is hidden so I can't hunt for it and kill it manually, and it doesn't show up in Windows Task Manager so I can't kill it there either
-
Ah, you know, just reread your post..The G1s, G1Ls and INT are the new Klingon P/Fs. Not fighters. Only the D5P, our only PFT, could carry them. If you have a carrier of any type, you can buy them, but they will not appear when you launch them. THAT's the toruble, my bad for not catching that the first time.
-
well see, that's the thing, the fighters that were suposed to be on it didn't work, but the PFs did exactly what they were supposed to, so your original fix was the ticket :)
