Hey, what happened to the forum? Suddnly all the colors have gone wonky. I can't even bare to look at it. Just a few minutes gives me a headache.
Am I the only one seeing weirdness? Or has some software failed somewhere?

It appears they changed the format. I don't see new colors, but this will take a bit to get used to!

Ah, yes, I see now there is an announcement in the Announcements forum.
It hurts my eyes a great deal. After just a few minutes, I'm suffering eye strain and a little pain.
There used to be a function on this forum that was supposed to change your skins. I never noticed it doing much when I tried, but I'm willing to try again. Does that still exist? I can't find it. Anyone remenber where it is? I'm not going to be able to take this new look for very long.

I find it much more friendly to my laptop's screen, and my eyes. What colors are you seeing, scippy? Looks to me they just made the text backround a medium gray, put quotes in a white box, and added a very thin border around the boxes. Looks very clean to me.
edit: I could to without the white filler in the box, but keep the outlined box for quotes. I also like the new buttons :)

I'm seeing light and lighter grey boxes around the posts, white text, yellow titles, and white boxed quotes. I understand that people's eyes are different, and I imagine CRT's and flatscreens differ a bit as well. For me, this new layout equals instant headache.
Thanks to Krueg, I found the way to change the schemes. I'm not fond of any of them, but I think I found one that won't give me a headache. (It's mostly white, so hard to look at for a long time on a bright screen, but works for now.)
The old skins options had a "Taldren" option. If the mods are reading, is there any chance of getting the "Taldren" skin back? I feel like I'm back in the old scheme, except everyone is posting in blue font. ;)

Heh...yeah...it's the new version of the forum software.
It doesn't seem to bother my eyes at all. I kinda like the change....but then I dig the Klingon UI in OP, too...heheh.

LOL. At least you didn't say you liked the Mirak UI! ;) (Actually, I kind of dig the Klingon UI as well.)
I'm back to play with more skins. I jus realized the one I'm trying to use doesn't distinguish between stickied and unstickied threads. Doh!

The Kzin UI is absolutely the most offensive to my eyes....it just kills me. Gorn is also kind of hard on my eyes, as well.

Please change back the to the "Taldren" theme, if you prefered that.
