CW4 was the first server I ever played on, I was just thinking about it and trying to figure out how long ago that was exactly.
Anybody remember roughly when CW4 took place?

Late september early october of 2001

+ Karma for you.
Sounds about right, did you just remember when it was or did you have some info you referenced?

I still have access to the SPQR Triumvirate email and it has all the old emails saved so I just looked up the ones for CW4 and the first ones from Skull and BBJ about the list of planets and objectives were dated 9/22/01.

Ayep...that one was about three years ago. Time flies!

Yes, it certainly does.

It's a shame that one was killed by a corrupted DB and a few other issues...it would have been interesting to play out.
I think the Coalition was in trouble in that one, though. The usual very low Lyran turnout coupled by slow moving Roms in the Early Era start was putting a lot of stress on the Klingons and ISC. My initial plans to try and quickly steamroll the Hydrans weren't going well due to the actions of the Kzinti as well as the dogged defense put on by the Hydrans. Early Era just isn't kind to the Klingons in a fight against the Hydrans...heheh. I was basically going to change my deployment of Klingon forces from 50% on the Hydran front to 50% on the Kzin front, Fred front would have stayed 25% (crossing fingers that the ISC and Roms could make it on scene and help out) and Hydran front would have changed to 25%. I recall us doing fairly well in the Neutral Zone between Klingon and Fred space...y'all grabbed some space and so did we.
It would have been a good one but it was already getting stressful. I think it was that campaign that made me step down from leadership the first time...heheh. After that, Kor took over for CW5 and part of CW6 (and then I took over for him).

Where is Kor these days? I had some very postive dealings with him while we were both RMs, he was a good voice of reason within the SFC community.
