They are pictures of my girlfriends dog that is part alisation and part labrador.

IMHO. The one with himon the beach looked the best. Very cute dog though.
If I may offer a suggestion, When Framing the Picture, Try to not have any Background Lines Going through the Objects Head and or Body, for example a Hallway Door Frome interjecting through the Dogs head, Or a Kitchen Table going through his Body.
The reason why, is Sometimes, It builds up Tension , and Distracts from the main Object you wish to photograph.

I think I know what you mean.
The problem is the dog is not a good subject and I can't always pick and choose the backgrounds.
That being said I'm very very amatuer and you sound like you know what you are talking about!

Labrador mixes are fun dogs. My puppy is now 8 months old and pushing 50 lbs. :D

Cute pup.
My g/f's reaction was one of "Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww" in a real girly way (one of the few things that will make her girly is puppies).
I've added some more pics to the galary.
Opinions are welcome.
Its a slow process organising hundreds of digital images!
