Title: Has anyone here heard of a MMORPG site called "Rune Escape"?
Post by: E_Look on September 19, 2004, 08:42:30 pm
Does anyone know if the Rune Escape site (look this up with a search engine) is okay?

By this, I mean is it "kosher" enough for school-age kids to play on?  It requires an account creation and login to play.  Has anyone heard of this?

Spent a bit of time there..seems innocuous and no viruses or other bad things down loaded (I use Norton's with spybot and adaware)...just cranking some time while my brakes are worked on ($260 for a front brake overhaul...why won't the wife tell me when she hears strange noises...aaarghhh!!!)

The learning curve is not bad, and at least they walk you through some things rather than throwing you to the wolves..tho' that can be fun at times too.....

Been playing this game on/off for years, especially when i had 56k and found it hard to play most games.

They've certainly made some major improvements between runescape 1 and runescape 2, the graphics are a lot better as are the animations, spell effects, monsters etc.

If you subscribe the world is even more bigger with more special items, monsters, quests etc.
