Okay, for those who dont know whats going on. Im making a Toolset available for download that will help people texture with ease, at least i hope.
The list above is what im including in the toolset.

What im asking is if anyone has any ideas for what would be a good idea to add.

Honestly, I'm looking for ways to create weapons like photons, disruptors, plasmas, etc. I realize this isn't really modeling, but it's something I'd like to get into and eventually share with the SFC folks around here.

Okay, what ive been working on recently are all the hull-pattern textures. These will be included as either BMPs or PSDs.

Don't forget, SFC has been a base for both B5, AND Star wars conversions, and there exist a lot of models for them...

So, why not include some B5 and star wars textures?

Also, DAMAGE EFFECTS. We need them. A lot of ships (freigthers and such) aren't in constant repair...

Also, WORN OUT textures for every good one you release, that some parts of the starship are getting hummered etc...

I was thinking, how about some ALPHA layer effects (plasma burn, missile striken, Hellbore sun-ken, phasered, PhGed, and ESG ed) that could be layered into the texture above, so we could have in effect unique ships and unique textures...

Also, other than race, how about fleet designations... textures for all races according to their SFB fleet list so it would differentiate fleets from each other...

Already in the works - I havent perfected it though, so i hesitated to mention it

Some of the textures will be customizable, so that wont be a problem. but ill see what i can do.

Maybe some engine textures for all races.Maybe make them color adjustable. Also some Impulse textures.

I havent touched in a while, until today...im still pluggin away at it. More and more im finding stuff to be added, to the point where this isnt so much a "star trek" texture toolset, but a generic one.
