Jeanne has taken out the power where I live, and we are being told anywhere from 2-3 days for the fortunate ones, to 2-3 WEEKS for the unlucky...
Not sure which column I fit in, but as KCW is supposed to start here pretty soon (?) I might not be in attendance.
Go out and kill some KLINKS for me. As a Fred, this server rocks, EVERYBODY that dies is GOOD! :P

My guess is that you won't miss anything.

Hopefully not, you sexy leather beast you, my power (possibly short-lived, still 45mph gusts) is BACK ON! Scotty is still with us!
"Mr. Scott, do you ALWAYS multiply your repair estimates by a factor of 4?"
"Certainly Sir, how else can I keep my reputation as a Miracle Worker?"
Anybody from Clay Electric CoOp reading this, thanks a bunch!

I've just resurfaced after 38 hrs with no power. Went down right as the eyewall apporached my area (Tampa, FL), kinda freaky. But, except for a hellofva lot of branches blown down, and a lot of spoiled food, came through all safe and with no damage to my house. The next street over, some poor souls had a huge Oak tree smash one end of their house to kindling.

Just got main power back this morning. I imagine the the power outtage probably had somethin' to do with this:

It's just a hunch, though :o
