STARSHIP EXETER: The Making of a Fan Film (http://homepage.mac.com/starshipexeter/exeterstudio/past.html)
Enjoy.....

I know all about this and would make for a great TV series with a more professional cast.I read about it in the Star Trek Communicator. It would possibly beat out Enterprise. What do you think?
-
Pretty neat. Hard to imagine the obstacles these people must face in this project. My hat is off to them for the effort. Thanks for sharing this. :-)
Respects...

Check the links! I was surprised to learn that these are not the only people doing this.

Two more. This stuff is pretty neat. The hidden frontier looks like it has a bunch of episodes. Grownups playing startrek. Who'd a thought?

The New Voyages one is the one that is sponsored by International Federation of Trekkers which is a non profit organization I belong to. the co-sponsor of New Voyages is the Roddenberry family.

Damn, more of them out there, eh?
That is very good to hear... anyone ever think to forward these to Paramount?
Might actually have some GOOD series then.... Berman & Braga can't screw it up much more....
-
ROFLMAO.... is it just me, or is the "hidden frontier"s one using 'Galaxy Quest's theme music for the opening credits?
-
Yes, its the theme from Galaxy Quest lol
Does anyone get the impression that the 'actors' (fans) are too busy thinking 'wow, I'm playing Star Trek', than actually concentrating on their acting lol. And why is there so many overweight Star Trek fans? Despite that, they have done a pretty good job though for an amateur production. Although, its a shame the Hidden Frontier movies have to use Quick Time format, the quality is horendous compared with the others. The New Voyages movies are better quality using Windows Media Player, although their choice of cast leaves much to be desired. The graphics of the ship are pretty good though. I'm yet to see the Srarship Exeter movies because in their makers' infinite wisdom, they didnt make them downloadable (you have to watch them through a stupid Quick time plug in, so annoying, although the files are still retreivable from the download cache afterwards).
