Title: Models Released!! Intrepid, Defiant, Nova Class
Post by: -LB- on October 10, 2004, 03:08:50 pm: These are all about a year and a half late, but here they are...please note these are SFC2 models and havent been made ready for SFC3 because they have no glow maps and all that other junk. If someone wants to convert these for SFC3 be my guest and please send them to me when you have done them.

as for the intrepid its not bad but the textures could have been... bigger.
meh , its perfect for the game and i suspect i can get a few good renderings out with it :)

Post by: -LB- on October 10, 2004, 03:26:01 pm: well, some of these could have been....better, but they arent bad. my favorite of the 3 is the defiant. the nova is one tough little ship to model, and the intrepid is a nightmare to texture. but they are fun to use and cool to watch in the game just the same.

Love the Defiant, and I agree, the Nova is tough...I haven't re-done mine since it was lost in hdd hell, cause it gave me headaches. :P

Post by: -LB- on October 11, 2004, 07:17:50 pm: well, actually, i havent fixed anything, my pc has been on the fritz ever since i posted these on frost works and havent been able to do anything. this is why i have been absent. but hopefully I may have the problem fixed, I am downloading drivers for my new vid card while I type this, hopefully this new card will fix my problems.

Post by: -LB- on October 11, 2004, 08:54:04 pm: I just bought an Extasy 9600 SE 128MB 8x AGP ATI chipset vid card to get me by until I build a new computer, and it seems to have solved all the issues I was having, I guess that old Geforce 2 was shot.

I'm using an geforce Fx 5950 ultra 256 MB my self and i did have a gf 2 several years ago until it was replased by gf4 4600 ti ultra 128MB so I'm going to wait at least until the generation after the gf6 for my next upgrade

and BTW the ships look cool very cool
