I would like to request a WZ Constitution Class ship named in his honor. Christopher Reeve died yesterday of heart failure at the age of 52.

I second that , also would be cool to see a lil superman symbol in replace of the fed logos but thats me ::)

I'll design a ship in his honor, He was one of my heros

For me, and a lot of kids my age, Christopher Reeve is, and always shall be, Superman. In real life and in fantasy he was a hero. I miss him.
And to Azel, a bittersweet "thank you" ahead of time for the U.S.S. Christopher Reeve.

id say a class name of Reeve would be more appropriate then just naming a singel ship

He was a great lively man with a bad luck ( f*ck) :'( I wish he could have a normal life. Damn horses. I will never ride a horse again. >:(
God bless him...

A new Superman movie has been in the works for the past couple years.
As for the passing of Christopher Reeve, it is sad. As someone said earlier, for many of us, he was Superman, both on and off screen. Another thing, he was part of the theatre. If memory serves, he trained in the theatre before doing movies and such. I'm currently training in acting myself with my college's theatre department, so for those of us here that have ever appeared on stage, a moment of silence for this actor, and also for the other loved ones we have lost recently, namely Janet Leigh and Rodney Dangerfield.

Azel, this would be a very heartfelt, touching gesture, to dedicate a new ship design as the Reeve class.
You are the man, you have my immense respect.

for those who may have missed it:
In honour of His greatness, The Heroic-Class, USS Christopher Reeve:

I really don't know if there is anyone that is capable of filling Supe's boots like Christopher Reeve. He was the quintessal Superman... he was handsome, pleasant, helpful, brave, thoughtful; 'the world oldest Boy Scout', like Lois Lane said. And Reeve was not too muscled, just cut. If he got all buffed out, it would have looked very foolish.
Just like Micheal Keaton as Batman, they should have left it as it was, a great series... both actors were perfect as their characters- deviation will tarnish the original image, both of the actor and the role, a otherwise perfect mesh.
Hopefully Hollywood will have some sense of patriotics and cancel the next movie... not everything needs an updated SFX remake. Just like the Ten Commandments, or a Streetcar Named Desire, just leave it as it is.
