Title: From SFB R9: Klingon WD5 War Dreadnought (conjectural)

The Klingon War Dreadnought. It's supposed to take a D5, add something big to it (the extension alone has 20 hull hits in SFB/SFC), and it would be a DN. However, the "what it would look like" was to be a great challenge to me: I've even grown accustomed to calling it "IKV Fugly". Maybe I'll use that name in my mod. ;)

The WD5 has 6 Disruptors, like other Klingon DNs of the same weight, but all 6 of them can fire within the FH arc. BUT, it turns like a double-decker bus in 4 feet of water. (Turn mode of E). Anyways, here's the end result...

Description: The Klingons also investigate means of transforming some their D5 WarCruisers into Dreadnoughts. However, research has proven that only a D5 built "properly", not cheaply as it was intended, could withstand the conversion. The design was not used, and is hence conjectural.

Well as an added BONUS this should go into my FASA Trek to SFC collection as a Predator variant. ;)

The D-5 we all use is actually closer to the FASA D-4 "Predator" than anything else, think that is whats meant by Pred.

Nicely done Firesoul sir,I like the concept alot, definately works as a D5 upgrade for me.
