Please do not kill pain. It is there to tell you that you are doing something wrong. If you kill the pain in artificial ways then you will continue to maintain the bad habit that is causing damage. Use your mind. Learn how to heal, stop running to pharmaceuticals. I know most of the west doesn't understand this but the mind and body work really well together if we just let them.
Ok, so your saying now is not the time to start thinking your way to recovery when there is this much pain. Actually, this is the best time; for when the pain goes away you will know what you did to make it happen.

I broke that bone during the 4 hours in my life that I attempted snowboarding.
However, I was doing "Morning Glories" or bent over deltoid flys in the weight room last week. Direct opposite the tailbone is the real bone, if you get my drift. When I straightened up, my arms were too tired to have good control of the weights. Unfortunately, there had been 'packgae shifting' as well.
I crushed the end of the front bone between 35 pound dumbells.

Functionality was eventually restored and proven correct. Lesson learned.
