Is this the weekend for Bonk's rendition of the KCW? If so, can we have the draft results?
No rush! I like Bonk's current server, and it looks like GW4 is about ready to launch. I'm just curious. Besides, knowing which house I ended up in will help my roleplaying fiction. ;)

It is supposed to be... (I'm enjoying SFB-OP too...).
I'll post a "draft" draft shortly, gauge the reaction, and see if we're ready for launch tomorrow as scheduled by the poll.

SFC-OP is only sufferring from a lack of players, their loss it is a really fun server I'm enjoying it!

Bonk, I'm in the same boat you are in. I want a server start and I want it NOW! I'm tired of waiting so damn long for it... BUT... I dont think the word is out on KCW doing anything yet. I mean, the house leaders, or the majority of them are silent, the draft isnt finished and the player population has dwindled during the long downtime between servers and I dont think they will be back en masse in time for this weekend. It will take some posting, some excitement, some leadership from the higher ups... None of which is going on.
KCW isnt the kind of fun server you can throw up, imo. It's cool if we see it differently, but I feel that with all the PvP rules and rigid structure KCW has, it's the wrong server at the wrong time at the wrong place. ;) We need a fun server like you have until everyone is ready for KCW to launch.
Personally I'm really pissed because KCW was ready to launch three weeks ago, but was held off so it would accomodate several players schedules, and I think that killed ALL the momentum the server had. It may have tanked it. I dont know, but there is little to no excitement about it right now. Cant launch a server cold and expect a decent player turnout.

WHy not kick it off on Saturday? This will give people atleast 24 hours to get organized.

Because I think we owe it to Hooch to find out what his intentions are first. Now get back to work on GW4 dammit!!!!!!!
In the meantime SFB-OP is a blast, and hopefully a GW4 test server is forthcoming (hint, hint).

What he said. KCW dyna go BOOM!! Too many key players missing. Only way it'll work is if it:
1) Becomes Bonk's dyna lock-stock-and-barrel. In other words, Bonk is chief admin. and his word is law. There can only be one Admin. Not an on-again, off-again committee of mostly absent Admins. If Bonk plays this dyna then no one can come in halfway through and start counter-manding anything he says.
2) Absent House leaders need to be turfed and replaced.
3) Draft is so out of date that it's not funny. It needs a new one, IMHO or just ditch it.

I'm still not sure what the final answer to my question is, but I'm guessing, "no".
Oh well, back to the fun of SFB-OP.
Please keep us updated, Bonk. You are doing fantastic work on the technical side of KCW. When you are set, spend 5 days pounding the hell out of the forums with advertisement so you gather a big crowd, and then kick it off. I can't wait.

Monday or tuesday night is looking good for that, along with a Public Beta and an explanation of the Mods and what was done.
