I apologize if this is an annoying question that comes up often, but i was wondering how well a 56k modem can play on dyna 3.

It can work, using either of the last two Patches. I played on a few modded Servers back when I was on AOhell and Earthlink both. If at all possible though, I would strongly suggest, you get a Broad Band account, as some of the games, Mods, Patches, take awhile on 56K.
