Unzip this to C:\Program Files\Taldren Software Inc\Starfleet Command Orion Pirates\Assets\Models. Folder should be named "tholian"

Here is the shiplist, fighterlist, model.size file, and a Batch file that will create the Models folders for the Federation and Klingons PFs.

If you OP installation is not standard, the Batch file will not work. Extract this zip file to the Assets\Models directory.

You may notice the Spare Parts are lower than last time. Let us know if they are TOO low. Most of the heinous AI misison have been removed amd IMHO, 10 spares for a CL/CA in a PvP fight is a balanced number.

Skirmish in Net space (where I had been drawing Klingon AI), I got both Klingon emeney AI and a Klingon helper. Who said KCW was dead?
BTW, in a straight Patrol I got a Fed helper.

T-NVL can't buy fighters, and starts missions with both of it's Dizzie hardpoints destroyed and unrepairable, guessing a shiplist issue.

Well, downloaded the Tholian file and shiplist with NP, but when I click on the link for the missions, the page never opens, I stare at a white screen...let it sit for over 10 min with no change. Mutiple attempts got same result... :-\
It that the same mission pack you sent me via MSN, Kroma?
*edit* well, tried one last time after posting and it loaded after a couple minutes, finally...

It is the same link yes, but I am unsure whether or not DH updated the pack since.
The download is working for me right now though.

Signed up as Rom, went to border on Tholian side. Took patrol. Mission loaded, showed "mission complete" immediately, while still showing "waiting for other players" (I was the only one on the server at the time). Waited several minutes then Alt-F4. No problems since.

Well, first thing noticed, Klingons and Romulan show as "mortal enemies" instead of being allied...
Drew a Base assault mission in open enemy hex (just once, but shouldn't have at all, no base or planet anywhere around it)

EDIT: Yup, I screwed up the Tentions. it will be fixed on the next reboot.
Tommorow I will reset the DB to 2273. Cna you guys let me know if the missions are too hard or too easy?

That's 3 times now, I'm guessin' there's a problem.

I had 3 or 4 missions dump me as well as soon as I locked onto the enemy ship. Each time, I couldn't see the model. Realized that each time it was a Tholian ship so I checked and discovered no model folder named Thoilian. Unzipped it again to the model folder and the problems went away. Might check yours for the same.

easiest way...extract the core contents of the directory named tholian. The sub directory in the zip is named Tholians.

I thought I fixed that . . . . Yup I did. old version sof the zip MAY have had the filder named wrong.

Ok, it appears that with the new missions zip I can get into the enemy sweep. It looks like the server was reset though, and now I'm not getting any enemies in mission in neutral or enemy territory (tried neutral and Tholian space, but could only get an opponent in home/Romulan space). The missions just close down upon entering, but don't effect the DV of the hex (despite saying "mission complete").
Also I did get the tholian models to show up, but in one Enemy Sweep patrol, it looks like one may be missing a model because I couldn't see it (but I did another THolian ship) it was off screen as it got closer but when I turned to it, I got shot back to desktop as I did when I couldn't see any of the models and got close to them on screen. I don't remember the ship type, I'll have to try and hunt it down I guess.

The T-ATGB isn't showing a model for me, and it's causing the game to crash to desktop. In addition, I did finally get some opposition in neutral space, it appears that the NW missions are working for me, but the Karnak ones so far are not giving me an enemy to fight (I think they were fine before the server reset, but I wasn't paying attention to who made the mission at that time.) Could a server setting be causing this effect?

Well, it looks like the EEK missions don't work, just on the THolian border (when I was off the Fed border they worked fine). Anyone tried using Klinks off the Tholian border?

Something must have changed, because I just took an EEK mission and instead of having no enemy I had Klingon opposition, and Klingon allies (this was on the tholian border).

I got a klingon and federation allied on a mission....weirdness.
Also Reyam is haveing problems coop...we start a mission get about 1.5 min and CTD?
Different scripts btw...weird.
Also noted several mission ship names. Could this be contributing to the oddness?

What exactly are these "pinwheel" ships as groups of three ships? Are they intended to be bases and will they be purchasable and placable in GW4 if they are indeed bases?

Correct, they are the best representation of the 3 ship tholian pinewheel the game allows. They are 3 ships attached at the rear ends.

You are quite correct, Bonk. I was playing on GSA last night and forgot to swap the models back before logging on tonight. Fixed it and came back to see if you wanted to try again, but you weren't on then. But, the Tholians are where they need to be.

I survived an amazing amount of time in one (SFB-OP version 12xP-1s) once vs a crak Rom pilot in a SUA. I think the battle lasted a full 18 minutes and I even got some internals in... (I was quite suprised).
The thing is a pinwheel really needs to be surrounded by a proper web to work properly, otherwise it's a sitting duck once the weasels are gone.

Tholian pinwheel... hmmmm... you know a custom mission can be written that would get three tholian ships to actually join together or disengage into seperate ships. Its easily done, just 'silently' remove the precedant ships(s) then place the antecedant ship(s) in exactly the same place applying damage recorded for the former. The deep scan toggle could be used while targetting a tholian ship to give the command.

Just noticed neutral space is " friendly" to Roms.. is it supposed to be?
Also noticed Rom GSF fighters aren't as good at taking out enemy ships as I'd hoped they'd be.. now I have to actually READ the shiplist.

I REALLY hope you you can get it fixed. When you have the same AI wing as enemies, the DV won't change after you complete the mission. This was the source of tremendous frustration on previous servers.
Even deliberatly getting the AI killed first was sometimes unsuccessful.

Ran coops on three Holding Actions. In the first 2, we had "host left" (no biggie, as we know very common, usually a user problem not a server one).
However after first mission we both backed out of the server and then back in. After the second host left, we both rebooted and then came back in.
On the third, rather unusual, neither of us saw a host left message, and neither of us saw a Mission Complete (or incomplete fyi) ... the game simply closed (as normal). No PP awarded on any of them (for me at least).
Like I said ... very good chance this is a user issue and not a server one ... but wanted to cover the bases.

Second though, there is nothing wrong with this ship that would cause the gae to crash. I just tested this ship with a stock loadoiut and it beahved fine.
Gues we don't need that patch after all ;D
EDIT: Just drafted that same ship, it functioned fine as an AI enemy. No patch is needed because of this issue.
