Title: SFB R9: Taldren-style ISC Ships - DW, CW, DNW

In R9, a few ISC ships have been posted which seemed to need a model for if I'm to add them to OP+. Here are the models I made.. You'll see they are the simplest kitbashes, but the models themselves have all the LODs and breakmods as usual for me.


ISC War Dreadnought:
Starting from a CL, they add a 2nd set of CL engines at rear, and a "huge structure" underneath. This ship handles adequately as a DN, but I find that it's a bit inferior to most ISC DNs. It's noted that ship is "unusually thick" for the ISC in its description.

ISC War Cruiser:
As early as 2270, the ISC studied how some of the other races converted their Destroyers (DDs) to War Cruisers (CWs), as well as Frigates (FFs) to War Destroyers (DWs). They designed similar changes for their own ships but chose not to use these designs as the ISC's ships were superior in the first place. Well. By 2287, 90% of the ISC fleet was isolated from their homeworld, so the designs were retrieved an implemented in a fleet-wide upgrade so to appropriately fight the rampaging Andromedan fleet.

The design essentially calls to an addition under the ship covering the extra weapons and a 3rd warp. allowing the ship to fill a role a ship a size larger.

You know, this is the first time I can say that I actually like how the "cresent moon" I-DD actually looks (as a DW...)

I like them.... it would be nice to see some new ISC ships too...  like a tng set...  ;D
