may i suggest the BenQ FP931. it's a 19inch LCD screen with vga and dvi input and a great response time of 16 ms. this thing rocks. i love it and half-life2 looks great!!! quite a deal at $379 at wwwtigerdirect.com  http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=1051601&CatId=170

Sounds excellent. I'd recommend Sceptre as the one I have rocks, the only downside is no DVI. :(. BUT! my response time is ~10-12ms. THAT rocks.

Digital Video Input. Basically, the video you see on screen is originally done digitally in your computers video card. It has to translate that into analog for a normal monitor wire thing.  Then when it gets there the monitor REtranslates it to digital. DVI eliminates that, providing much smoother imagery.
