So rumour has it someone is throwing a server up consisting of the war cruiser.
Since we seem to have all these engrossing polls up I thought people could post which War Cruiser Leaders are the best (in their opinion of course)
Obviusly the #1 spot is held down by the CWLP.
But what woul you rate as 2-7?

I think the only one that borederline sucks is the SPL.
The Hydrans are great, Fed CLC is wonderful, D5L is a work of art.

Cool, was wondering about the SPL
Tried flying it, and found it ....lacking compared to some of the others.
Good to know it's just not me.

Pound-for-pound (BPV wise) the APA and CLC are tops IMHO.

The SPL is the Romulan Sparrow Hawk light command cruiser. The APA is the Hydran Apache medium cruiser.
The easiest thing to do if you want to find out what a ship is, open up Shipedit, load up a shiplist, and find the ship designation that you are looking fo (if you're not sure of what race the ship belongs to, it might take a bit, but there are only so many races to have to look through)r. In the "Full Name" box, it should tell you what the ship is.

If we're counting war cruiser carriers then the CVLS takes the cake in my book, if not, the CMZ is the same ship without fighters.

Nah I was just ondering about the cruiseres themselves- Obviously a CWLF is better than a CWLP.
Although I'll never understand why some people like the CLC and D5L better then the CWLP.

Nothing's ever hot before the Z refit. Just look at the difference between the base '86 Camaro and the '86 IROC-Z ;D
But, the I-CL is pretty decent comapred to everything else in early.

Thanks Wanderer and I thought the SPL hd something to do with Romulans but wasn't sure and APA had no idea.

The CVLS is a Strike Carrier. The CMZ is a Medium Cruiser. Their weapons suites are very different. Most ISC Carriers only have Plasma or PPD, not both. Exceptions are the BBV(Z), BCV and one or two tugs I think.

You're right, of course, that was a typo. I meant the CVLS is the same ship as the CSZ plus fighters.

E3E!! I know its not a WarCruise but come on it should be. Look at all thos phaser 3's Can the rest really compete.

And no one even mentions the G-CDD... I remember LOTS of 2v2s that were D5Ls vs. CDDs. Quick Pace and lots of fun. To be honest the CDD is probably one of my favorite ships nice balance of speed and smack-down potential... and the SS over run is something that EVERY RACE must fear.
I hate PPD. ;D
