Title: FASA Fed Thufir WIP
Post by: Terradyhne on December 15, 2004, 02:48:13 am: its nearly done, needs a littil bit texture tweak but if i get time for it in the next days than i will convert it and make it available for download
it has 1116 polys with two 512x512 textures and i made it bigger to the size of the Constitution/Ent-A, so this is now an heavy destroyer in this size :D
its a lowpoly model but it has not so much mesh errors like the one from P81 (sorry but i try to eliminate such things on my models if i can)

Post by: S33K100 on December 16, 2004, 07:08:52 pm: Nice ship, but it's not really the Thurfir from FASA - the saucer was actually for once a new design, the top is shaped like the top of the Excelsior saucer a smooth curve to the edge and the bottom has no curve at all, nothing there really on the underside. The bridge module is different too. The problem is on the schematics they got to the top view and got lazy so they just pasted a Connie-R saucer in there, the front and side views show the unique saucer as it should be, check the schematics here:

Very nice model other than that and I look forward to downloading it, with or without the different saucer. :)

yeah the problem with FASA models is that the schematics views don't match and that there are so much realy stupid sized Kithbashes and i sayed that this is not realy the FASA Thufir in my first post :)

Turned me around on this design really I dint like it before but now I do ;D
