Hey, i just got hit with a virus. it took out my font folder. Norton eliminated the virus, but some of my fonts are missing...I had a friend email me his font folder, but he was using XP...now the problem is i am using win2k pro, and a few of the font files are still missing and are being replaced with the System font. Normally i wouldnt care, however its getting in the way of some applications by screwing with the alignment.
would anyone be gracious enough, who has windows2k pro, to email me a zipped version of their font folder?

On the way guy.

Now the computer wont let me delete or replace Tahoma or Tahoma bold, even in Safe Mode...so im clueless.

thats a problem, as my floppy doesnt work, last time i checked.

Im trying to see if there is a way to repair it from the CD

Alright, well, i fixed it by Upgrading win2kpro to win2kpro....yeah, unfortunately, it broke my copy of 3ds Max 6 and i dont have the MSI file, so i have to reinstall 3ds Max 6...at least PhotoshopCS still works.

Found a solution.. EBCD. Throw the open archive somewhere easy to find on your HD, then download and put EBCD on a CD. Boot off CD, use the tools on it to copy the Tahoma fonts into the Fonts folder when Windows isn't running. Reboot when done, system should come up with 2k Tahoma. :)
Looks like you fixed it though while I was sleeping... :)
