Heya
Anyone know or have listed the Lyran Xship names?
I seem to have lost the rule half of Module X.
(of course I have the SSd book, which is useless to me)
I've found the listing at starfleetgames.com, but they seem to be missing alot of ships, as well as all the X's.
If anyone could help I'd appreciate it.

I'm pretty sure the Foremost Duchy's command ship was named Sippy Cup.
-
Lets see there was
The Runaway
The Backward Advance
The Hexx's Folly
The Drone Sponge
and The U.S.S. Minnow
Hope that helps.

Have I ever mentioned how much I generally loathe the lot of you?
-
... loathe ...
Awww.. ain't that cute. He's got a lisp. ;)

Oh now see that just hurts.
1) Assuming I don';t know how to spell
2) I know you have the info (probably memorized) that I'm looking for and won't give it to me.
well all I have to say is HA! I hope you decide to fly Lyran on SGO, cuz all your getting is a CW.
(of course after you humiliate me by killing something with a CW that I can't with a BCH I'll be even more upset.. ;D )
3)Uhmm, wait I had a #3 that I thought of while writing #1...ah weel can't remember.
Maybe I'll just wing with FS every chance I get for the entirety of SGO...

Hexx, catch me on MSN and I will send you the complete Captian's Registry. It has all the historical ship names in it.
-
See?
Now Kroma I love...
No wait..
-
Hey, we all forgot the Low Ceiling
-
And it's back to the loathing..
-
lyrans ship names
1. Vertically Challenged
2. Step Stool
3. Booster Seat
KBF Trajan

And it's back to the loathing..
Just think, how "uncapturable" and "fearless" your ship and marines would be if us tall people had to invade the Low Ceiling.
"Okay men, we're attepmting to capture His Royal Highness Hexx's ship, the Low Ceiling. Hunker down men, we don't want anyone being split in half by the deck."
"Sir, what are we to do when a bunch of crazed kitties gets into melee range, I can barely swing my arm around when I'm crunched in half."
"Just shoot to kill before they get that close."
And when the boarding party beams over, they are met with 10 to 1 odds. Ship safe for the night... ;)

Actually, that does bring up a point for us Hydrans.... being only 1 meter tall and all (Hex did love those ships btw ;)) Do other races get any type of disadvantage for being in such cramped quarters?
-
Well in a boardins action vs the Hydrans all one really needs is a flame retardant suit and a match........ ;)
-
Kzin boarders are easy to deal with. Just leave a big bowl of Fancy Feast by the transporter pad!

With a sack o' 'nip ;)

Just beam over da 'Nip and we will be more than happy not to board at all. Why bite the hand that feeds you?............
..........then again that hand looks nice and meaty ;D

Why bother boarding at all?
Just like a torch and send it over to the bridge...
Which brings up another point.... if you can H&R different sections/components of the ship... why can't you transport a mine onto the enemy bridge?
(other than the problem of the game being much shorter in duration.... ;D)
-
Strafer is good at doing this give him a haller.
-
Well since nothing on the bridge moves fast enough to set it off what is the point, unless it could be rigged for immediate explosion, something mines are not able to do outside the ship as well. If they were it would be real nasty vs a starcastling opponent.
-
ACCCCK, not the transporter debate again!
:banghead:

And an oxygen supply so that their atmosphere CAN combust. Do you honestly thing Methane breathers would have any oxy aboard that they could possibly avoid having? Come on Chut, that's basic chem stuff you're forgetting.

Hmmm chemisty,
now that was the class that had all those cool devices that could be made into bongs, right?
;D
-
That explains everything. You were stoned and you missed it.

No, that was Shop class ;)

Wrong Wandy,
Shop was where you assembled them, Chemistry was where you obtained them. Of course if you had a ceramics class it could all be done in one place.
;D

At this time, I'd like to thank his Royal Magesty for Cathedral Ceilings... ;)
