Title: Aphelion Class textures WIP
Post by: Adonis on December 19, 2004, 07:38:55 pm
Ok, she's my 25th century redesign/refit of the Excelsior Class starship. She's originally a WIP for Bridge Commander, but I'll have Outalance dudes convert her to SFC...;D 8)

Opinions, crits'n'stuff please...

Ya, and one Complicated su*ker to make too...the final aztecs will take only 7 layers from which 3 make up the light gray which don't have the other 5 yet :P :point:

I have an explanation for that....

This ship is post Nemesis, i.e. early 25th century, thus we don't have any official guide for ships of that era to the 29th century, and I wanted to make some difference. So that is aritistic lisence lol

Its the light blue I dont like.. the dark blue will be broken up I assume with aztecs? The light blue just lacks definition, looks a litttle smudgy...  :)

Still its an awsome ship youve got coming  ;D

Ok, since last time I added the yellow stripes onto the sec hull (so far), and got rid of that whiteish trapezoid section by the shuttlebay (remapped it, and redid the panelling).

the only crit i have is that the dark blue sections are maybe a bit to blue you might want to mess them up a little with a slightly lighter blue azteking or panel lines just just to break up the flatness of the color

Well, my all-time favorite gets a decent refit.... Im really picky about most Excelsior refits, she's usually perfect as she was, IMHO.... however, this really is a nice refit- nothing too extreme, yet nothing as plain as a nacelle switch.... this is a really nice work, I mean that!!!

When I'll be satisfied with her look, I've put too much work into her to screw up by finishing her faster than needed.
