Anyone know what a .tga file is? I just got a download for Raven Night's Dvoridex and these files are in it.

I think they're layered texture files. :-\

Will they appear in SFC OP? Textures in this format are not appearing in in Modviewer.

TGA is a graphics file TrueVision Targa, it is a graphics encoding type that Bridge Commander uses. SFC will only see PCX and BMP which are lower resolution files than TGA. No the TGA will have to be converted for SFC to work with them.

Adobe Photoshop uses this format. If you need to play this model via SFC2/OP just convert them to BMP maps using Paint Shop Pro or Adobe Photoshop :)

Some one just mentioned in another post SFC 3 will see TGA files. I personally never cared about SFC 3, it was to watered down in the ship command area to be enjoyable for me. I shelved it after completing the first two missions (Fed and Klik) and never bothered with it again. Still play SFC OP though.
