& NVS
Also- although I assume it was done on purpose some tenders aren't equipped with INTs as standars but have the PFs

The problem Diz is that on the ships mentioned above the "standard" PF they're listed as
carrying is the "NPF".
There is no entry in the SL for NPF, so they don't have a PF in mission, nor can thy purchase one in spacedock.

Of course if they had a Lyran working on this there would be no problems. <sigh> Sometimes people just don't understand the power of having someone naturally puuuuurfect working with you.

Very good question, and one of the things that I would have like to have addressed had I not been bombarded with trivial unimportant Bullsh*t all weekend :P (yes, Dizzy, I mean you)
In testing, we founf the Plasma Ds on the fighters to be too broken to use. This was not really noticed on GW4 because the mid-era romulan fighters only had 2 D-torps, the level of "brokeness" simply never got noticed.
In SFB, a fighters could fire 1 Plasma D per turn. Put Plasma D on a fighter in SFC and they fire one per IMPULSE! The Late era mega-pack fighter have 6 D-Torp. This meant a squad of 4 could dump 24 D-torp in 3 seconds. Do I really need to eleborate on how broken this is?
PhotF is used to replicate a mini-plasma bolt. One PhotF is used for every PlasmaD that was on a fighter in SFB. It does damge about what a bolted D would do (yeah I know fighters couldn't bolt, don't stop me when I'm on a role).
I hope you find the ISC/Romulan/Gorn fighters to be just as evil as t00l did in testing. ;D
