This picks up where the big file left off.. links updated 2/13/05.
Get the entire Multi-era Mod for SFC2: EAW at my site now, in 1 file
http://www.universeatwar.org/cjones in the downloads section.
This mod has 7 shiplists in it, all with batch files on the desktop.
SFB, TOS, TMP, TNG, Dominion Wars, Multi-Era, 2036
2 of them have received getting major updates.
The Multi-Era and TNG
TNG is pure canon Trek, no SFB races.
Fed, Klink, Rom, Borg (Gorn), Dominion (Lyran), Breen (Hydran), Cardassian (Mirak), Aliens (ISC)
Missions! - I have a bunch of little FMSE (Fleet Mission Script Editor) scenarios in there.

I am a big fan of this mod. The download for the update works fine. I have it installed now and hope to test out the balancing of the shiplists. Hopefully it will reflect the careful balancing done in the UAW mod. I did run one of the skirmishes-the one with the shimmering black block and the huge alien ship. Great fun!
Chris, I really appreciate that you updated the mod and made it available here. I really like the idea of running one mod era in EAW and a separate era in OP.

I didn't have as much time to spend with this one as I did with UAW..
The black block is from the movie 2001: A Space Odyssey. It's a Monolith.

How about some B-5 Races? Shadows, Vorlon? ( Yikes!) Mimbari, Earth alliance ect.
I really love the crossover ships you have been including. They are an unknown quantity and usually give you one heck of a fight.
It also makes you feel like the whole universe truly is at war. :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

The B-5 Races I shall consider for a 'Future Optional Update' for Universe At War, and MAYBE this EAW mod..

p.s., I really like the new plasma torpedo texture in the multi-era version. They appear as shimmering bubbles. Who created this texture?

Yes - The screenshot is from one of the scenarios, Dominion Invasion, and the plasma texture was part of a collection of files from 2 or more years ago.

Just curious, but what is needed to run this mod? Starting from the original install. This looks like an incredible mod, and would very much like to try it out if I can, but I want to make sure I set it up correctly. So again, if you could, please tell me what I need to install the mod. Thanks, and great work.

Just a humble request from us dial-ups. I noticed that on the download set-up for your new site that I cannot get file resuming to work. Is there any way that that can be changed? All of the mod files are pretty big. I already have the mods that were released in the good old days but I am anticipating the UAW patch and I would hope to be able to download it. ;)

You just need to follow the instructions in the top post of this thread.
1. Fresh install of EAW.
2. Patch EAW.
3. Install the original BIG single mod file (the one linked in the initial post).
4. Install the update file (the second link in the initial post).
If you were fortunate enough to download the files last month, then everything should work smoothly. At this time, however, the STCD site is in a state of disrepair. I suppose bad things happen to you when you declare war on Harry. If you don't have the files, you will probably have to wait for Chris' new site to come up to speed or hope that somebody is willing to bring the STCD mod site back to life.

In response to my files being gone from the Star Trek Gamers Directory..
I will be uploading the 2 files needed for this mod to my new site..
Its a matter of getting to it, lol..
I'lll post here when its all up and give a direct link that should work with your resume.
I'll be uploading all mods that they were hosting for downloading from my site..

FYI I am uploading a single file, with both the original big Multi-Era File, and the latest update, 2 exe files inside a rar file, sometime this weekend..
The total file size is about the same as the original big file without the update..
I will also provide direct links as well as having the download on my site..
