Any of you happen to have Captain's Log #19?
Just wondering about the Lyran Politics section. Is it actaully something to
read or is it the "blah blah 21 counties, Dukes use DNs.. etc"

Normally I wouldn't ask before buying, but I just grabbed an issue
that had "History of Fed Fast Raiders & Splendid Cats"

Being me, I assumed the 'Splendid Cats" were Lyran ships no one
was telling me about.

Not to make you bust an artery but the "Splendid Cats" are actually Fed.

Nah just wanted to know if it actualy went into some detail of Lyran politcs or
if it was just another reprint of wht I've got in five or six places

If it's that long it's got to have some new info.

LOL, anytime man. It basicly coversthe Four Duchies (Ducky's, I'll save that for a joke later) Enemey's Blood: Stepchildren of the south,  Formost: First amongst equals , Far stars: life on the Edge , and RedClaw: The Front line. alot about the Klingon Aliance, and which Group was for or against It.

Um, EB IS the front line. Especially the EB starbase. Blow it away and you can pretty much deflect any Lyran assault to attack the northern frontier, as well as make any attempt to cut off retreat from the old colonies extremely difficult. Problem is the number of ships that is required to do it, which is ships you already don't have to spare (due to being already outnumbered at least 3-1 and the losses that will occur).
