All I see is BOSFC and The Forge - after multiple refreshes - really weird.
Out of ideas.
And yes the server was up with poeple playing on it
-
bump!!!
-
Still having the same problem - I see the D.Net server, but not SGO4. I saw the SGO4 Beta when it was up briefly today. Arrgh Again!
-
Refresh the list a few times, it always seems hesitant to list the server when we run local to the directory server at D.net...
(also make sure your firewalls are totally disabled)
-
Tried all that, no joy. I still only see the the D.Net stock server. Oh well...
-
Tried everything, no joy. THX1138. GGGLHF.
It has been a good 5 years, though I missed the end of Artictire's Legendary server.

Have you tried calling your ISP to see if they are blocking port 28100? Something must be different about your connection, everyone else can see it. Maybe your ISP can help, it might be a simple solution we haven't thought of.
-
I contacted them. 28100 is not blocked. They did send me some interesting info on what ports ARE blocked, which you may find interesting.

Those ports should be fine...
Are you using a proxy server?
-
Thanks to KOTH Kougar/Megafortress, I can now see the Server. Counter-intuitively, whereas using DMZ has always permitted access in the past, I have now as suggested forwarded some more ports in addition to ones which came stock with the router ( such as MSN Gaming Zone etc.) and the ones from many Cleaven/Sandman posts.
I got it to work, well I least I can see the test server.
I had already added the special apps for SFC based on the posts in the forum, but had had no luck - but running in DMZ seemed to always work.
I disabled DMZ off and I added in "Special Apps"
2300-2400 Trigger to 2300-2400 Incoming
27100-28900 Trigger to 28100 Incoming, and
28100 Trigger to 28100 Incoming.
One of those must have done it.
Still it was so weird that only SGO and Strayys were not getting through.

DMZ and DHCP = bad, port forwarding and a static lan config = good (what I use). Great to hear you can see the server.
Don't forget port 47624! (the other directplay port)
-
This outstanding news, Far! Looking forward to seeing you on! ;D
-
Got 47624 ( came as an option with the router).
Weird thing is that now I ONLY see SGO4.
-
Good, important port for SFC2.
Man, that is one weird network you got there... I reccomend against triggering and use port forwarding only. Is your lan static?
