This is one of those tales that I've been developing since way back when SFC2 was first announced:
It was one of the largest conflicts in the history of the galaxy, rivaled only by the Andromedan Invasion and the Dominion War. Now, witness the battle from its very beginning...
The years are 2289 to 2294
And the galaxy is in chaos. Massive wars are constantly on the horizon as the United Federation of Planets, Klingon Empire, Romulan Star Empire, Mirak Star League, Lyran Star Empire, Gorn Confederation, and the Hydran Kingdom wage a cold conflict that teeters on the edge of erupting. As the situation threatens to flash-over, a new and poweful player emerges. They are the Interstellar Concordium, and while they profess to be the saviors of the Alpha Quadrant, they prepare for their true goal: the imposition of peace by force and the conquest of the "barbarians."
As the march to war begins, other forces move throughout the galaxy. In the Federation, a new generation of Starfleet officers comes to prominence, including Captain Michael Kincade of the U.S.S. Upholder. The newly promoted Director of Starfleet Intelligence, Admiral Xander Nelson, quickly becomes overwhelmed by an enemy just as threatening as the ISC. In the Klingon Empire, while some continue to prepare for what they see as the inevitable fight to the death with the Federation, others take the bold and dangerous step of reaching out to their cold war adversaries. And on Romulus, Senator Rathelik begins to take the first steps towards strengthening his power base, but how far will he go to get what he wants?
Prepare to wage what could be...The War to End All Wars

"Because you could not find the strength to look for peace yourself, we have found others to bring it to you. We shall leave you in their care."
