Title: Orion Marauder-Class retexture.

I've been working on retexturing the stock Taldren pirates (and a couple of Klingon ships for the Korgaths). Here's the first completed one.
Special thanks to Sapharite for "de-LOD'ing" the stockers for me. At 416 polies, I don't think that they're needed and it keeps the size of the DL down a bit. It uses 5 1024x1024 bitmaps plus the associated lightmaps. So, it's big enough with only 1 LOD. I hope you like it. There'll be more to come.

Hmmm... a base, huh? I hadn't thought of that. :smackhead:
I do have a nice little BoP that I'm finishing up now for the Korgaths though. ;)

I'm glad that you appreciate it. I wasn't too sure how the chrome finish would be accepted. I thought that it looked cool though, so I went with it. Think of it like the "Predator's cloak" as far as stealthiness goes.

As far as the others go, they'll all probably look quite a bit different. I'm starting of with a basic gray background and letting the model evolve until I get a theme for it that I like. I'm working on the PDN (Actually, it's a BCH hull. Taldren liked to call BCHs DNs in the model's folder, for some reason. :-\) It's not at all looking like the PCA. So, if you don't like this one, maybe you'll like that one better. ;D
