Title: Meeting????

I was thinking today that it would be great if some of us could get together in person, go out for a few beers and chat about trek / modding / models and SFC in general... we all seem to love the stuff, and i think it would make for a good night out.

I am calling out to all those peeps in the UK as I havent got the money or time for a flight to the US or anywhere else, and asking your opinion... modder / moddeler / skinner / mesher / kitbasher / fans / general interest / designer whatever category you fit under.....

could you be bothered are you interested to finally meet eachother... I think it would be great.

Whatcha think... tell me to shutup if im being stupid.


PS im only posting this here as I dont visit the rest of the forum.

Marky ...   I'm not able to be there  ..   (I'm here in the States) ..   but what you are suggesting is a great idea ...Getting to meet in person those we have met here !

Buzz... you should organise a US meeting... rofl... although the US is a little bigger than the Uk so that might be an issue  ;D

Chrystoff - I live in aldershot, about 32 miles from London..... BINGO...  ;D

Although I was thinking about a place we could meet that is central for everyone..... lets see what the response is like... an if its just me and you then so be it... I'll bring he pronographic playing cards you bring the VAT of Vodka  ;D

Bernard thats a great idea... especially if you can bring peeps from your web site along... the designers and the like... could be gr8!!!

DD I Have a house in North Wales in Llanfairfechan its in the county of conwy... small world....


Guys this would be great... all the UK guys meet up... all the Canadians, all the americans... it would be fantastic.... a face to face.... after all these years for those who were on the taldren boards..

For those in the uk i propose a central location so all those in the north / south / wales / scotland etc can meet....

could be gr8  ;)

no dude, I'm in the states, no way in hell will I ever be able to afford another trip to europe. Not with what I'm making, or more precise what I'm not making. There's a few people I've met on here that would wish I hadn't if we met in person, for the majority I'd love to get together with.

now all we need is a UK attendance list......

a US attendance list . . . . .  (for the US)

A canadian attendance list (for bernard)

lists from everywhere.... non trek appearance required..... unless u intend on turning up like 7 of 9 or belana... or mabey t'pol..... whoaaaaaa... FW you wouldnt get into 7 of 9' s suit so dont even ask..... ROFL  ;D

My tenure in Birmingham is over for the moment... and I can tell you I can go without another 6+ hours on the train to get there each week.  Nope, I'm home in Glasgow, and doing a spot of recruitment for Strathclyde Police next week (hurrah)  Who knows where after that?  And between May and September I'll be working on my advanced hypnotherapy training too (so up to Perth for weekends again.)  I reckon I'm booked solid for the time-being, and doubt I'll be free to join y'all.

well since m the province of quebec and i don't know when i will have the money to get a car, so it will have to be in Montreal or close to Montreal.

Actually, I'm in the Proccess of organizing a Get together on July 30th here in Oklahoma. Of course everyone is welcome to attend. Figure we could eat some dead animal, sit back and relax, talk Trek, etc.
