you mean like battlestar galactica, B5, starwars, ect?, some of use have other sci-fi mod from a lot of place.

is there any tuts on how to take out a race and replace it with
another race [like adding the republic and the rebels from star wars]
any help is apreciated

well in eaw and op the only way is to replace a race with the one you want to use, but you can't change the symbole of the race in the game.
