I can modfy models with ease now, not easily create new ones.
See the WIP Narn thread.  The models were originally DamoclesX's Starshatter models, after going through several modelling programs (Deep Exploration, Deep UV, 3dsmax, and finally A6 MED) to get to this point.   Skins are now a single skin, contained within one mesh/ model.  Models will have illumination and LOD with individual selectable and targetable weapons hardpoints.

Add another step and minus $25 (Milkshape 1.7.4) because my SFC MOD exporter seems not to work with 3dsmax 5/6
