Had a great match with 762 last night -- I only had the NHK he had the big fat fed dread..
We did a bit of a phaser dance with each other -- nobody really getting any hits so he unloaded an alpha and got some decent photons hits on me in return I got a few good plasma S hits on his dread -- match went on for about 30 min and we both were starting to take moderate damage..
Both were flying well, however tactical errors were being made by both of us. Once I actually overflew his dread (not smart considering I didn't have plasma loaded --err ok I did have pizza and wings in my mouth at the time and that might have affected the helm control but he didn't have a hold up so I got away ) -- as the game continued we pecked away at each other in a game that went from both of us flying at speed 30 to us slowing down to the low 20ies...
He managed to get me in a hold late in the game and let some drones and maybe even a SP go -- they were headed in on me and I thought Crap this is it -- down goes DuckBoat #1... but as soon as he tractor hit I put up a level 1 repel -- never thought it would break his hold but it did just as the drones were about .5away from hitting me -- So i got away but my engines were down to 35 -- I threw my last 3 repairs into engines -- turned off my plasma and got the hell off the map while I could..
His only comment during the game to me was "wow that thing has power" if he only knew how close he was to taking me out I would be nothing but a Cabin boy today ...however luck was with me and I got away..
Great match 762 -- it's matches like that why I stick around and fight instead of fleeling the map === Oh don't kid yourself one time when I saw my two S plasma hit your tail end and do 35 internals I had "delusions of godhood" and thought maybe just maybe if he screws up a few times I can actually do this ...

Goddammit DH, I thought you said t00l was to much of a luss to be trusted with a DN again!?!?!?!?! He goes through DNs faster than I do CBs or Cabin Boys!!!!

God damn thing impressed me when he was following at high speed and still managed to fire off a full load of photons -- all I thought was sh*t that thing has a decent power curve when loaded..

Trust me on this one Ducky, the trick to beating t00l is waiting until later in the evening (you know just before closing time), when he is more pliable. That when he usually let's me have my way with him.

This is true. All of the Alliance knows it. We've learned to shut down our speakers around that time as all of that squeeeeeeeeellllllllllllling can really give a guy a headache.
Okay . . .. 762 is going to kill me. But it was worth it.

Yeah it was a BCG. BPV wise we were pretty close. And yeah I shoulda upped that trac when I grabbed ya. Yeah I was kinda toasted.
And yeah, it was a great game! :)

Since 1999.
In Duck's defense, we league type guys would never catch Feds in a BCG. If you were negotiating BPV's and you were getting into BCH range, they would always insist on enough to get the BCF.

Umm bastards of KHH what you dont know is the fricking bottle of scotch was empty by this time....so stick that up your pipe and smoke it -- at least my pipe was still full --- ashes and cinder but full..
