Title: Virus writers and SPAMers should be put to death!

I have been having computer problems all weekend. I am not sure, but my firewall is screwed up and I think I have a virus. The scumbags who write these things and send me SPAM need to be punished. 20 years at hard labor sounds good to me!

I hope to be back on line full time later this weekend.............

Man, I actually do understand..since the last of the children have moved out, the abuse has dropped 95%..I do daily checks, and keep the updates current

I was able to fix my computer finally. I wish I didn't spend so much time on the phone with tech support!


In case this ever happens to you, let me tell you how I fixed it. My computer started acting really weird Friday night. Norton would not work and my firewall went down. I tried to install and reinstall and it would not compete the installation process or validate the software.

I used the system restore feature in Windows and restored it to last week. It worked like a charm! I was able to uninstall and install Norton and it's working fine now. Thanks God (or Bill Gates) for Windows Restore. I forgot I had that option, but it comes in handy!

The only problem with system restore is that it can be infected, nothing is sacred for someone who writes that garbage.
