Title: Do I Need A Server?

I wanted to set up a GAW MOD Campaign on my home PC, that my brother and I could log into and out of when we have time, and be able to take up where we left off without losing our ships or prestige points. Do I need a server to do this or can I set it up on my PC the way it is? I have heard of server kits for the Dynaverse, but I didn't know if something like this could be done, and how to do it??? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!!!

yes, download the server kit from here for the patch you will be using, I think GAW is a 534 build. you'll have to do some tweeking with it, but there's a manual included with it that will help explain lots of things.
