I need guidance on photon etiquette.....
I have mainly been flying CFs and CC+ on the mirror server so far, I have used the single fire proxy photon method versus AI as they seem to hit more often that way then when I fire both or all at once. I also have had this method used against me by a variety of Federation players over the years. I have not used this in PVP on the server as some have advised me that it is an exploit/cheat I am wondering if this is true or am I just a misguided Lyran that is uneducated in the ways of the dark photon arts...
Kirk?, Sulu? damn it Jim I'm a Lyran not a photon hack please help....

waiting a second between each torp gives you a different roll for each shot...this is a cheat? not!

Not saying a word............
-
fire 100 photons, 1 at a time then in groups.
They hit EXACTLY like the charts say they will.

Except on Tuesday.

Or if it's Kehakoul.....

I have NO way of knowing if it's true but way way back in ladder match days -- some feds would fire single shot photons claiming that if they fired more then one photon at a time their eccm would spread over the number of photons fired vs the full amount of eccm you are running for jus the one photon at a time..
once again I never really played FED so I have no idea if the above statement was another myth of the game or valid ..

Myth.
Photons need a little extra care that's all. You need to know what ranges are good for what mode, but more importantly get used to the ebb and flow the charging time creates. They're actually pretty accurate if given some TLC and a careful eye on the ECM panel is kept.
