It appears that my copy of OP has a scratch on it. Won't install. Bleh.
Well, I guess at least til then I can make meshes, and worry about finalizing them once I get OP again...

HOLY CRAP'OLA!!! SBLOYD!!! You sir was the reason I started Modeling Ships in SFC. I remember seeing some of your designs and said to myself "I want to make models like this guy". Glad to see you back on the boards again. ;D
-
talk about comming out of the woodwork. And speaking of which, I noticed I, Mudd on the trekmods board as a recent registered memeber. Maybe this is some kind of trend.

Copies of OP are still available. Ask Frey or nose around here: http://wgleague.com/wgleague/op/
Glad to have you back!
-
Amazon.com also has copies of SFC:OP for sale as well.

Just a thought, since Sbloyd already owns OP. Would it be kosher for someone to upload a copy to an ftp: for him (and only give the link to him) and have him use his own CD key to activate it on his PC? He owns the software, it's just damaged after all.
I'm not trying to promote anything improper. I just wonder if this is acceptable practice? Does anyone know?

No clue Rod but a great idea.
-
Ive seen it on ebay for 5-10 US bucks.
But yea sbloyd definatlely get back into it. The one cruiser with the inside-window edge I remember (well not the name lol ;D)well, thats always been a favorite of mine, excellent design and model.

Claymore. GAFY just did a retexture of that one. I've always been fond of that one as well.

Current work in progress.

Looks good. I take it you like Lyrans?
-
I'm almost ready to track down a copy of OP and ship the man a copy of it. But it looks like $15 is enough to buy a copy, delivered to ones home.
Perhaps my all time favorite Lyran model was this one of yours...

If I was to daydream about a transitional model set for the Lyrans, it would be Feral's Lyran models into the TMP era and beyond that a set based on this Lyran model of yours. I think it would be a really interesting transition of design.
BTW, nice to see you checking in.
-
I wish that your site was still up, nice mid-detail stuff. I still use the Hippocrates actually. ;D
-
That Lyran looks sweet. I totally agree with Rogue. Your work is some of the best transitional ships I've ever seen. I'm stoked to see that you're coming back to modelling.
;D

I agree aswell. The Claymore was a neat design, and your Romulan, Lryan and Gorn ships where well designed too.
I think someone on this board actually took your Gorn CA and made some variants with it.
