Title: Changing a Cartel to Empire status...for a mod.

Hey.

I was wondering if its possible to change a cartel into an empire - meaning, instead of having 8 cartels and 8 empires, what about having 12 empires, and 4 cartels?

dont think you can do that. YOU can however combine two races into one slot to free up a spot for the pirates.IT is alot of work on the sl and im not sure how ts done. There are however people in the Dyna 2 forums that might be able to  help you.Dizzy and DH come to mind along with several others.

I helped Rod ONeal (I think it was) produce a map for such a mod - he reported back that it worked in single player - I know it will not work on a dyna server. Get in touch with him for info.

Does anyone have an answer to this question?  In particular, I'm really hoping to get a single player conquest campaign where all or most races as empires, with perhaps with just 1, 2, or 4 races as pirates.

You can put all of the races, including the pirates, on the Empire's level of the map, but they don't flip hexes properly, unfortunately. I plan on revisiting this sometime, but ATM I'm distracted with modeling.

Thanks for the heads up.  That would be great if you can figure that out, but a map that had 14 or 15 races on the empire level would be awesome also. 

Thanks.  BTW, We've enjoyed your mod (that had fighters and PF's for all races) quite a bit.  Thanks for all the hard work you've done.
