Title: Using Bases in SP campaign in SFC:OP

another rookie question....

I notice on the shipyard that there are Base and Battle stations. Now, since bases don't normally move, is there a way to "move" a base? Otherwise, I don't see why you'd buy one.

When you buy a base, you escort it in freighters I believe until you take a 'Starbase Construction' mission to deploy it in a sector.. after which you gain its economic / repair centre and other bonuses.
