Title: Mods and folders
Post by: Khalee1 on July 05, 2005, 12:26:19 pm
How many mods can be in a folder. What I have done is made now 6 Hydran Frigate's, and I just put them in the same folder, but they do have differant names. But for some reason when I went to test them in game they showed up big and right on top of each other. Do I need to have them in their own folders to fix that. I did not think it would matter as long as they were named differantly.

not sure about this but did you try adding them to the  model.siz thingy in the model folder?you can open it up in note pad. Some one in the d2 forum may be able to help also since  they are always making  mods and changing ship sizes. I might  suggest DH, Herr Burt, Dizzy and Firesoul to ask these questions of.Hope this helps.

To my knowledge there is no limit to the # of .mod files you can stick in a single folder. At least not any that I've found. Brezgonne puts all of his Tholian models (way more than 6) in a single folder and it works fine.

As far as the model.siz file goes, as long as you have the correct path to the file, and the folder is in the "models" folder that the model.siz file is in, it'll be fine.
