Title: Oil prices hitting 62 a barrel guys and gals
Post by: Jack Morris on August 05, 2005, 07:50:20 am

Even though I'm invested in tankers, this still worries me, because we still show economic growth with high 50's and 60 plus a barrel oil. I hate seeing normal Americans get screwed. The time for talk is over, we have got to get serious about alternative energy, even if those windmills do kill birds, hehehehehehehe.

And what have the Democrats or any in government, proposed to help make the US more energy independent?   Allow more drilling in the Gulf?  Nope.   Opening more lands for exploration? Nope.

Allowing the construction of more nuclear power plants?  Nope.     How many new refineries have been built in the past 30 years, to meet the demand of producing 14 different (mandated) grades of gasoline?
