Okay while I am waiting for bonk to get me a valid card key does anyone care to describe how this game works online and stuff like that?Such as pointing me in the right direction :)

Once those steps are done, you will have a basic current OP game that can play on the D2.

The next step is you'll need to modify your game for whatever server you want to play on.  Some servers use the basic shiplist, though I'm not sure if any of those are currently running.  Most servers use FireSoul's OP+4.0.  The mod, and many others, can be found in a seperate dynaverse.net forum here http://www.dynaverse.net/forum/index.php/board,3256.0.html.

Just FYI, the current "major" OP server is AOTKII and there is a thread in the D2experience forum that has the installs you will need.

What Green has up there largely covers things... you'll find live pilots alternately fly much more brilliantly or in less sensible ways than AI :P
