Title: mesh in need of help

Currently in 3ds formatt. The minute I try and rotate the mesh it vanishes. I was able to port it to mod format but I'm told there are alot of mesh errors. I have light and spec maps for the ship but didn't include them. The ship was amde by dante around 3 years ago around the time BC was first released. He gave it to me before he vanished and It was filed away and forgotten. I doubt he'd have a prob ending up in SFC so I figured if someone can fix it both communities can make use of it finally.

you have mesh errors because there are doubled polys en mass in this mesh, however in Deepexploration it looks good and i imported it into Milkshape and there it is vissible that there are much doubled polys

hmh. seemed fine after i did an automerge every equal point in LW, however i couldnt do anything about the polycount (i rekon its a max made mesh because its entirely fubared by having tripled/triangulated polys all over) :/

it was over 5700 polys now it is arround 4800 polys i think

Converted to .MOD, but I didn't resize the textures or do up illumination maps (figured that you'd be doing that yourself anyways during the port to BC).

I got textures and lightmaps here so no probs. I'll msn ya the lightmaps MP if u want to do the sfc version.

yea the gafy version of the spades already went to BC and was well liked. Also, I played with a couple different shades for the phasers including black and dsicovered that stocka dn black didn't look good so I went with a darker grey. Also the map is warped on 2 of the banks so an actual textured pattern on the phaserrails is out, but I can live with that seeing as how the ship was nearly deleted after 3 years sitting here doing nothing. Also MP I'm on msn now if u want to recieve the textres and spec.
