Title: Another Hexx innovation- try and tear this apart

Just had an idea, as I'd like KCW to be a fun/serious server I was thinking of increasing the number of BCH's that could be flown
at a time by one house to say 3 or 4.
But..

If you lose a BCH you can't fly another for the rest of the server

So anyone can buy a C7, and any house can have enough of them on that they aren't a ship that must be kept safe
As well, being worth no more honour points than a regular ship you won't have them being kept to the aces. nor will
DH be screaming at you if you scratch one.


This sound fair? (or fair-ish?)

4 (BCH) x 4 (Houses) = 16 Players

How often do we have 16 players on at a time?

Hmmmm......

Well, I like it!  As you say, it makes sure everyone who wants to can get a shot.  For a little while there could be everyone on with a C7, but that won't last long......  (The afterlife is such a downer.)

Hey I'm the idea guy, not my fault if someoen can't keep the server up long enough for the hordes to sign on..
 (ahh the humor, good to know I've still got it)

But enough fo that for now,
likely there will only be 3 "major" houses, I'd like to have 4, but number crunching seems to say 3.
It *may* be 4 per house, it may be two- the idea is to have enough of them that it's not a "No we have to give the C7 to player
xxxx because we need it to be attacking this planet/clearing this hex"

The C7 is just a fun ship to fly, if anyone hasn't flown one on a serious server I'd like to let them, without turning it
into a BCHfest.


The other thing I'm considering is trying to work an advanced version of what I had planned for LCW- basically you have 4-6 houses but
only two sides -each house needs it's side to win , but each will also have it's own objectives.
Only thing is that means I need to change the map (which I've grown fond of) and come up with a bunch of equally challenging
objectives for the houses to do.

Keep the C7s out altogether and I'd be happy, should really be a mid era affair anyhow for the True Klingon feel IMHO, not cheese just guts  ;)  The D7W is also a fun ship to fly, at least if everyone is in one and not a C7  ;)
